Archiving and Unarchiving Contracts

This guide will walk you through the process of archiving contracts in oboloo, how to view archived contracts, and how to unarchive contracts when needed.

Archiving Contracts

Archiving a contract removes it from the active contract list, ensuring that only relevant contracts are displayed in your Contract Management table. Follow these steps to archive a contract:

Step 1: Access Contract Profile

  1. Navigate to the Contract Management menu.
  2. Click on the contract profile you want to archive.

Step 2: Archive the Contract

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the contract profile page.
  2. Click the red Archive button.

Result:

  • The contract will be archived and by default will no longer appear in the Contract Management table.

Restrictions for Archived Contracts

  • Archived contracts cannot be assigned to active projects or activities such as savings activities.

Viewing Archived Contracts

Archived contracts are not displayed by default. To view archived contracts, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Contract Management

  1. Go to the Contract Management page.

Step 2: Filter Archived Contracts

  1. Use the Archived Status filter above the Contract Management table.
  2. Select the filter option to include archived contracts in the table view.

Unarchiving Contracts

If you need to restore an archived contract to active status, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Contract Profile

  1. Navigate to the Contract Management page.
  2. Use the Archived Status filter to locate and select the archived contract profile.

Step 2: Unarchive the Contract

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the contract profile page.
  2. Click the Unarchive button.

Result:

  • The contract will be unarchived and will reappear in the active Contract Management table.
