What Are Contract Owners?
Contract owners receive in-system and email notifications for the contracts they are assigned to. Notifications include updates on documents being uploaded, approved, or expiring.
Accessing Contract Owners
To manage contract owners, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to User Profile
- Navigate to the contract.
Step 2: Open Contract Owners Tab
- Click on the Contract Owners tab.
Adding a Contract Owner
Anyone with the appropriate access can add a user as a contract owner.
Step 1: Access Contract Owners
- Follow the steps above to access the Contract Owners tab.
Step 2: Add New Contract Owner
- Click on the Add Contract Owner button.
Step 3: Select User
- Choose the user you want to assign as a contract owner from the list.
Step 5: Save Changes
- Click on Save.
Removing a Contract Owner
The user who created the contract is automatically assigned as a contract owner but can be removed if needed.
Step 1: Access Contract Owners
- Follow the steps above to access the Contract Owners tab.
Step 2: Find the User
- Locate the user assigned as a contract owner that you want to remove.
Step 3: Remove Contract Owner
- Click on the Delete button next to the user’s name.
Step 4: Confirm Removal
- Confirm the removal to complete the process.
