The Primary User in oboloo holds a unique role within an organisation’s account. They are the key administrator responsible for managing the account’s subscription, billing, and high-level configurations. The Primary User is typically assigned during the initial oboloo onboarding process and serves as the main point of contact between the organisation and oboloo.

Role and Responsibilities of the Primary User
The Primary User has exclusive permissions and responsibilities that go beyond those of standard users within oboloo. These include:
- Subscription Management - Only the Primary User can upgrade or renew the organisation’s oboloo subscription. They have access to the Manage Subscription & Billing section (under Account Management), where they can: Update payment methods. Adjust license counts. View or download invoices.
- Billing Authority - The Primary User is the sole individual who can make changes to billing options or subscription details. They serve as the financial point of contact for oboloo. The primary user will receive automated updated on their billing such as auto renewals of oboloo
- Adding Licenses - The Primary User can purchase new licenses to users in the organisation.
- Account Security and Ownership - The Primary User ensures the integrity of the organisation’s oboloo account and acts as the main administrator for major account decisions.
- User Management - While other users may have permissions to manage users, the Primary User is ultimately responsible for maintaining oversight of licenses and billing.
How to Identify the Primary User
The Primary User is clearly identifiable within oboloo’s User Table. Here’s how:
