As your organization's needs evolve, you may want to change your oboloo subscription plan. This guide will walk you through the process of managing your subscription and changing your plan from a monthly to an annual plan, helping you save 16%.

Managing Your Subscription

To change your plan, follow these steps:

  1. Access Account Management: Go to the "Settings" menu on the left-hand main menu and select "Account Management."
  2. Manage Subscription and Billing: Click on the "Manage subscription and billing" button. You will be redirected to the customer portal hosted by Stripe.
  3. Login to Stripe Customer Portal: The user who originally signed up for the trial needs to manage the organization’s subscription and billing. Input the primary user's email address into the Stripe customer portal. A login link will be sent to that email address. Click the link to access the portal.
  4. Upgrade Plan: In the customer portal, click on the "Upgrade plan" button. You will have the option to change your current plan.
  5. Choose New Plan: Select the new plan you want to switch to. Choose between the monthly or annual plan. Note that switching to the annual plan will save you 16%.
  6. Confirm Purchase: Confirm your plan change using the default billing method. You can also change your billing method in the customer portal (refer to the "Updating Your Payment Method" user guide for more information). You will be billed immediately for the new plan, and any applicable credits from your current plan will be applied. The new plan will take effect immediately within your oboloo platform.

Prorated Billing Details

At oboloo, we use prorated billing to ensure you only pay for the exact amount of time you use your chosen plan. This means that if you switch plans partway through your billing cycle, you'll be charged only for the remaining period. For example, if your annual plan costs $995.88 and you switch from a monthly to an annual plan halfway through your billing cycle, you will be billed approximately $497.94 for the remaining six months of the annual billing period. This ensures fair and transparent billing, so you only pay for what you use.

Important Notes

  • Primary User Requirement: Only the email of the user who originally signed up for the trial can access the customer portal. If you need to change the primary user on the account, please reach out to support.
  • Immediate Billing: Plan changes are billed immediately, and any applicable credits are applied to your account.
  • Plan Availability: The new plan is available immediately after purchase.
